The storm
One night in the middle of the winter I woke up because I had a nightmare. When I went to lay down and go back to sleep I herd thunder. I went down the hall in my power ranger pyjamas I saw an orange light coming from the kitchen I ran and hid behind the couch but it was just the digital clock on the oven. But then it went dead silent all I could hear was the leaky pipe dripping water It reminded me of when I swam for the first time then I woke up It was a dream
I love the way you have captured the randomness of dreams in your writing. I also love the phrase 'it went dead silent' as this gives the story some punch.
